Itinerary option
Day 1: Arrival day
Transfer from the airport to the hotel and explore the intriguing old town of Salzburg.
Day 2: Kayaking in Salzkammergut
Discover the beauty of the Salzkammergut lakes by kayak. The sleek sea kayaks make paddling fun as you partake of the exceptional views on the water.
Day 3: Werfen Ice Caves
Having formed over thousands of years, this labyrinth of icy caves opens to a world of crystalin beauty. The Eisriesenwelt ice cave has a total length of more than 40 kilometers (25 miles) just waiting to be experienced.
Day 4: Gramai Alp
Nestled in a superb natural setting, Gramai Alp is situated at about 1,250 meters (4150 feet) above sea level and is surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscapes – the perfect setting for a beautiful bike ride.
Day 5: Hiking from Gramai Alp
Today’s seven-hour hike offers several significant and rather impressive contrasts of landscape. On the one hand, there are the impressive, relentlessly tall cliffs, and on the other you will find idyllic paths through inviting forests and meadows leading past babbling streams and waterfalls.
Day 6: Karwendel Alpine Park
After the long hike the day before, it becomes a little quieter today. Explore this pristine reserve and soak up the abundant nature that surrounds you.
Day 7: Hiking at the edge of Karwendel
This day brings you to the western edge of Karwendel in Tyrol where your hike promises impressive panoramic views.
Day 8: Innsbruck
Discover the sights and attractions of Innsbruck; enjoy a unique mix of alpine and urban in a place where the mountains meet the valley and the city meets and blends with nature.
Day 9: Zirbenweg mountain trail
Hike above the tree line along a beautiful trail of Scots pine (known locally as Zirbenweg). This trail, without significant changes in altitude, runs along the edge of the forest and offers gorgeous contrasts.
Day 10: Departure day
Transfer to the airport.
