Itinerary option
Day 1: Arrival day
Transfer from the airport in Lisbon to Évora.
Day 2: Évora
Spend the day in Évora. During a guided walk you will appreciate why the village has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 3: Monsaraz
Today’s hike in Monsaraz leads weaves beautiful, natural landscapes together with carefully maintained vineyards. After the hike, stop into a winery to enjoy a tasting.
Day 4: Mértola
On this hike along the Guadiana River, you can enjoy magnificent views all the way into the neighbouring territory of Spain. Later you will visit the picturesque town of Mértola.
Day 5: Biking day
On your trusty bike you’ll leave the coast and, accompanied by the scent of orange and lemon groves, enter the Moorish Silves.
Day 6: Cape Sagres
Today’s hike leads over cliffs with bizarre rock formations to the Cape Sagres, in the far southwest of the Algarve. Less than five kilometers from the south-westernmost tip of Europe, this rocky promontory has stood as an important landmark in maritime history.
Day 7: Praia do Castelo
Today’s hike leads us along the impressive rocky coastline of Praia do Castelo. The rocks glow with colour and reveal the power of the waves of the Atlantic as they continue to chip away at and form wonderful rock formations.
Day 8: Serra de Monchique
The natural landscape of the Monchique Mountains awaits us with its many unique features. This area is dominated by the two highest mountains of the Algarve, Picota and Fóia, through which our hike leads us.
Day 9: Biking day
Today’s ride heads east and passes through unspoiled coastal countryside around Loulé and São Brás de Alportel. Soak up the fresh air and view the land studded with olive, almond, fig and orange trees.
Day 10: Kayak tour
Discover the natural beauty of Faro and the Ria Formosa. Take your kayak into the marshlands and lagoon with your professional guide who will point out the wildlife we’re sure to discover!
Day 11: Biking day
Cycle along the Ecovia Litoral. This route takes you along the coast and the beaches of the Algarve.
Day 12: Departure day
Transfer to the airport and departure.
