Impressive glaciers and deep gorges invite you to discover both tranquil walks or hair-raising paths in Valais. In between we will enjoy the famous Glacier Express before we head on to the Jungfrau Region, the beauty of the Bernese Alps.

Itinerary option
Day 1: Arrival day
Transfer from Zurich Airport to your hotel. Discover the city with your guide.
Day 2: St. Moritz
Travel by train to St. Moritz. Discover one of the most famous holiday destinations in the world, twice host city for the Winter Olympics and a UNESCO World Heritage Site – located at about 2,000 meters (6,500 feet) above sea level.
Day 3: Alp Languard
During this fantastic high-altitude walk, you will take a narrow path that winds along the steep slope. Finally, towards the end of the tour, the entire array of Upper Engadine lakes opens at your feet. The views never fail to impress.
Day 4: Glacier Express
This is the day you board the famous Glacier Express! The sheer joy of travel aboard the exhilarating train is something that must be experienced to be believed. The lucky passenger is presented with a cross-section of the richly varied Swiss countryside inside the luxurious comfort offered by Swiss rail. Then, at the end you will find yourself at the foot of the Matterhorn!
Day 5: Hiking at the foot of the Matterhorn
This full day hike, starting in Zermatt, offers true adventure. Wooden chalets, expansive green fields, and no shortage of marmots will accompany you on your way. That’s not to mention the breathtaking sight of the ever-present Matterhorn!
Day 6: Zermatt
For more than one hundred years the Gornergrat Bahn has been making the ascent to the panoramic mountain of Zermatt a truly unique and wonderful experience. Enjoy this unique ride on Europe’s highest open-air cogwheel railway.
Day 7: Grindelwald
A scenic train ride brings you to Grindelwald, nestled in unspoilt Alpine landscapes at the foot of the north face of the Eiger. The world-famous backdrop composed by the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains sets the scene for a charming time in Grindelwald.
Day 8: Grindelwald First
Follow a classic panorama trail to Europe’s oldest mountain hostel. First summit takes you above the tree line as you enjoy breathtaking views of the around Grindelwald.
Day 9: Top of Europe
Start the day with a unique but easy trail. Then, at Kleine Scheidegg we will board the train taking us to Jungfraujoch, a place called the Top of Europe. This fantastic train ride takes us to the highest railway station in Europe.
Day 10: Lucerne
Travel to Lucerne by train and enjoy a guided city tour. Among others you will visit world-famous spots such as Chapel Bridge with its water tower, as well as the Lion Monument.
Day 11: Mount Rigi
From the summit of Mount Rigi you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view across the Alps. From this vantage your view spans over thirteen lakes as well as over the entire Swiss Central Plateau and even as far as into Germany and France.
Day 12: Departure day
Transfer to Zurich Airport.
